Foster Management Group's Bio
I am a self-taught American abstract artist inspired by my mother. She was a vast still life artist, but as a divorcee and mother of two she never had the opportunity to pursue her dream. I currently live and work in the Atlanta, Georgia area where I am pursuing my profession as an artist. For me, painting is a complete escape. I find myself for a moment forgetting the anxiety and the troubles surrounding me. I love to play and experiment with the paints, gel mediums, sand and other interesting materials. As I don't want to affect the fantasy of the viewer, I give my works of art no titles most often. I often paint very spontaneously during the work in process. I immediately put new ideas into action of art primarily on wrap canvas or flat canvas boards. Each artwork is painted with premium acrylic colors and other media.
Many people have trouble understanding and appreciating abstract art. Over time this style of art has evolved to become more and more appreciated. Abstract painting confronts you with autonomous life and independent personality. My art doesn’t have to have a subject matter outside itself. When I am creating my work I am in a spiritual high that is as good as it gets. This feeling is worth all the sacrifices I have made in my life pursuing my art. It is possible for a person to reach this high and feel as good, only if they are prepared to open themselves up to the energy that flows out of my work. Have no uncertainties or preconceptions. Attempt to have unconditional trust, as if you were meeting your best friend. Only then you will make the connection with my work. When you communicate with my work you will be in a better place within yourself. All bad influences will be washed away and your outlook on the mundane nature of daily activity will change. Abstract art is the picture of human emotions that give the paintings an independency and a spiritual breath. If you are a sensitive and emotional person you will enjoy my art.
